Clinical Externship

Required minimum 288 hours for this portion of the program, at a clinical site.

1. These hours are tuition-free, but they are a requirement to satisfactorily complete your program.

2. A clinical site is defined as a physician office, hospital or facility providing diagnostic echocardiograms. National School of Sleep Medicine staff NOT clinical site staff are in charge of the final check off      of student competency.

3. As of the date of this agreement, National School of Sleep Medicine has multiple partner extern sites available. This is subject to change at any moment and therefore National School of Sleep Medicine DOES NOT guarantee placement in a clinical site.

4. Under section RCS5 of Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), graduates may take their registry upon the completion of 800 clinical hours. 800 total hours are required for our students. 288 are to be completed in a clinical externship, and 512 hours may be completed on the job once STUDENT has completed their didactic + externship program requirements and gained employment, and because this is covered in our enrollment agreement, RCS5 pertains to our graduates.

Once student achieves satisfactory completion of the above, a certificate of completion will be awarded.
