Return and Refund Policy

🛡️ Refund Policy Overview (rev. May 20 2025)

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and transparent for all students.

Receive a full refund (minus a $100 administrative fee) if you:
- Submit your request in writing via email within three (3) business days of your registration date AND
- Have not accessed any portion of the course materials (online modules, downloads, or videos).
Once any course material is accessed, no refund will be issued.

If your enrollment includes shipped materials (books, kits, equipment, etc.):

You must return them unused and in original packaging at your expense.
A restocking/shipping fee may apply.
No refunds will be issued for digital products (e-books, PDFs, e-course content) once delivered.

Your course access ends on the date listed in your Welcome Letter.
Extensions may be available for a separate fee.
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Missed access periods
- Failure to log in before access expires

Once:

No refunds will be issued.

This policy ensures fairness in resource allocation, scheduling, and instructor commitments.

Refunds are not granted in the following cases:

All course content — including text, graphics, videos, presentations, downloadable materials, and any other resources — is the exclusive property of the National School of Sleep Medicine and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
Enrolled students are granted personal, non-transferable access for educational purposes only.
The ASTEP Introduction to Sleep Medicine for the Sleep Technologist course is provided under license from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), which retains all rights to its content.
Students may not:
- Copy, share, sell, reproduce, or distribute course materials
- Use course materials for commercial purposes without written consent
- Post any course materials publicly (including on social media or file-sharing platforms)
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

To request a refund:

Email admissions@nationalschoolofsleepmedicine.com within three (3) business days of registration.
Include:
- Your full name
- Registration date
- Reason for refund request

Return any physical materials (unused and in original packaging) within 7 days of your request.
Refunds (minus admin and applicable shipping/restocking fees) will be processed within 14 business days to your original payment method.

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect operational or legal changes.
The effective date above indicates the latest revision.
